Notice of Data Security Incident
United Regional Health Care System (“URHCS”) is providing notice of a data security incident involving a business associate that may have affected certain patient information.
What Happened
On January 22, 2026, our vendor, Xsolis, Inc., identified unauthorized access within a limited portion of its systems due to a phishing attack. The activity was immediately contained, and an investigation was initiated with external cybersecurity experts and law enforcement.
Information Involved
The incident may have involved certain protected health information related to URHCS patients. At this time, there is no evidence of misuse of any information.
Xsolis Response
URHCS takes this matter seriously and worked closely with Xsolis to confirm containment and remediation. Xsolis has implemented additional safeguards, including enhanced monitoring, strengthened access controls, and security improvements. Xsolis is notifying individuals if they were affected.
We continue to evaluate and monitor our business associates to ensure appropriate safeguards are maintained.
