Shrey Devarashetty, MD

Dr. Shreya Devarashetty is a board-certified internal medicine physician with United Regional Physician Group.

Dr. Devarashetty completed her medical education in India before moving to the United States to continue her training. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Rutgers- Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ, and later pursued fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Her training in both Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine provides a strong foundation in preventive care, chronic disease management, healthy aging, and care for adults with complex medical needs.

Drawn to medicine by its unique combination of science, problem-solving, and human connection, Dr. Devarashetty chose primary care because it allows her to build lasting relationships with her patients. She believes that understanding the person behind the medical history is essential to providing thoughtful, individualized care.

Her approach emphasizes prevention and early intervention, helping patients maintain their health and well-being over time. She believes listening to her patients and understanding their goals are essential to providing meaningful care. She works closely with patients to develop care plans that reflect their individual needs and priorities. With additional training in Geriatric Medicine, she brings a deeper understanding of how health needs change with age, with a focus on preserving function, independence, and quality of life.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Devarashetty enjoys traveling, cooking, baking, painting, and staying active. She and her husband are proud parents of their daughter, Dhriti. Dr. Devarashetty looks forward to building lasting relationships with patients and being an active part of the Wichita Falls community.
