Laura Gutierrez, FNP-C

Laura Gutierrez is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a strong clinical foundation in critical care and community health at United Regional Physician Group.

She began her career in 2006 at United Regional in the emergency department while completing her nursing degree at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX. Her professional journey led her to specialize in diabetes, becoming a certified diabetes care and education specialist. After earning her RN, she gained 16 years of experience before advancing her education with a master’s degree from Midwestern State University. As a family nurse practitioner, she has worked in chronic disease management at United Regional’s Transition Clinic, providing healthcare to some of the most vulnerable populations With a passion for patient education and community outreach, Laura brings a patient-centered approach to healthcare while advocating for accessible and equitable health services.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, has two children, and two dogs. She enjoys traveling and staying active with her family.
