Josane Gabriel, MD

Dr. Josane Gabriel is a Family Medicine Physician with United Regional Physician Group.

Dr. Gabriel completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at St. George’s University in Grenada and then earned her medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine. She received her clinical training in New York and went on to complete her Family Medicine residency at Henry Ford St. John Hospital in Michigan.

After experiencing a fracture herself, Dr. Gabriel developed a deeper appreciation for the patient experience and the challenges individuals face while navigating health care. That experience strengthened her commitment to becoming a physician and advocating for patients during some of their most vulnerable moments.

Dr. Gabriel values family medicine for its focus on prevention and believes that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. She enjoys partnering with patients and their families to promote long-term health and well-being. Through education and shared decision-making, Dr. Gabriel helps patients of all ages and backgrounds better understand their health and make informed choices about their care.

Dr. Gabriel is thankful to be a part of the Wichita Falls community. In her free time, she loves exploring the outdoors, traveling (especially to the beach), cooking, crocheting, reading, singing, and spending time with friends and family. As the middle of three children, she especially values the close-knit support and strong connections she shares with her immediate and extended family.
