physician group

Dr. Jonathan Pino is a family medicine physician with United Regional Physician Group (URPG).

Dr. Pino began his academic journey at Midwestern State University before transferring to Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK, where he played soccer and earned his undergraduate degree in health sciences. He went on to complete his medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine, in Saba, Caribbean Netherlands, and returned to Wichita Falls to complete his family medicine residency with the North Central Texas Medical Foundation Family Medicine Residency Program.

A fourth generation physician, Dr. Pino grew up immersed in medicine and frequently accompanied his father to work. These early experiences in clinical settings shaped his calling to serve others through healthcare and continue to influence his compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. Dr. Pino was drawn to family medicine for its broad scope, encompassing primary care, urgent care, sports medicine, emergency medicine, and hospitalist practice. He is especially passionate about building meaningful relationships with patients and helping them take the next best step in their health journey. Dr. Pino’s clinical approach emphasizes listening first, communicating clearly, and explaining medical conditions and treatment options in everyday terms. He strives to ensure every patient feels comfortable, heard, and well-informed, and he is committed to coordinating timely referrals and guidance when specialized care is needed.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Pino enjoys spending time with his wife, Ginger, and their two children, Raley and Owen. He enjoys being active in church, watching his kids play sports, going to estate sales and antique stores, and collecting sports cards with his son. The Pino’s household is joyfully shared with five dogs and three cats. Returning to live in Wichita Falls brings Dr. Pino and his family closer to loved ones and to their church community at City Hope Church.
