Dr. Ifeanyi Nwosu is a non-invasive cardiologist with United Regional Physician Group, board-certified in internal medicine and echocardiography.
He earned his medical degree from Ebonyi State University College of Health Sciences in Nigeria, graduating at the top of his class. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he gained extensive experience in managing complex cardiovascular conditions and advanced diagnostic imaging.
Dr. Nwosu’s journey into medicine was shaped by both his parents’ dedication to care and his own experience overcoming severe childhood asthma. His interest in cardiology developed through years of clinical experience and a deep appreciation for the cardiovascular system’s critical role in overall health. He is passionate about combining advanced medical technology with a strong understanding of heart disease to improve and save lives. His approach focuses on patient education and building long-term relationships, helping individuals confidently manage their health and maintain quality of life.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Nwosu enjoys spending time with his family, teaching his children mathematics, and playing and watching soccer. He loves the welcoming community and peaceful pace of life in Wichita Falls and is proud to be part of the United Regional family. He values creating meaningful moments with his family and staying actively engaged both at home and in the community.
