United Regional Earns 2026 Women’s Choice Award® for Orthopedic Excellence

United Regional Health Care System proudly announces that it has earned the 2026 Women’s Choice Award® as one of America’s Best Hospitals for Orthopedics. This designation signifies that United Regional ranks in the top 11% of over 4,600 U.S. hospitals offering orthopedic services, reaffirming our commitment to excellence and patient-centered care. To achieve this distinction, United Regional met rigorous standards for quality and safety, including offering six advanced orthopedic services: arthroscopy, joint replacement, spine surgery, onsite physical therapy, MRI imaging, and robotic-assisted surgery.

The Women’s Choice Award® identifies the best hospitals nationwide that are women-friendly and align with women’s healthcare needs and preferences. The Women’s Choice Award® for Orthopedics is based on a comprehensive methodology that evaluates hospitals on multiple measures of quality and patient experience. This includes patient recommendation scores from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey, surgical complication rates, and infection prevention performance. Specific factors considered include United Regional’s ability to minimize complications such as wound reopening after surgery, accidental cuts and tears, and infection rates for knee and hip replacements.
