Join our bi-monthly Bariatric Surgery Support Groups at United Regional. Surgical weight loss is a lifelong journey — and you don’t have to take it alone.
The Bariatric Surgery support group is for patients preparing for surgery and for those who are post-surgical. Discussions cover numerous topics, including the surgical procedure, how to prepare, what to expect, the changes you undergo, how others view you and how to ensure long-term, permanent success.
Facilitated by the bariatric program coordinator, the group meets from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in person or through zoom. Support Group meetings have proven to be a wonderful, cathartic experience for countless people. Meetings are held in the Barnett Road Medical Building Conference Room (Entry B, the Conference Room is near CarePlus).
