Student Volunteers

Beginning June 8 and ending July 31, the Volunteen program at United Regional is an 8-week summer program with volunteer opportunities for high school Juniors and Seniors who want to explore a future in Health Care

Requirements:

  • Must be classified as a Junior or Senior in high school at the beginning of the 2026/27 school year (August 2026) 
  • Attend an orientation class scheduled for June 4, 2026 
  • Have a TB test (given by the hospital free of charge) 
  • Student must be able to commit to 7 of the 8 weeks of the program

  • To apply please fill out the form below, you will be asked to upload several documents with your application including:
  • Current photo
  • Current grades
  • Volunteer application essay.
  • Reference questionnaires

We will be corresponding with your references so please ask permission before listing a reference. Please do not ask a neighbor, family friend, or relative to be a reference.

As a Student Volunteer, I must be prompt for duty and be courteous and considerate towards patients, visitors, and staff.   If I am accepted as a Student Volunteer of United Regional, I agree to accept assignments cheerfully, perform work carefully, and abide by hospital rules and regulations.
