Provider Ratings FAQ

We believe patients deserve clear, trustworthy information when choosing where to receive care. That’s why we share patient experience ratings and comments on our provider pages, reflecting our commitment to transparency and integrity.

For more details about these ratings, explore the frequently asked questions below.

All star ratings and comments are submitted by actual patients who received care from our providers. Surveys are administered and verified by an independent partner, NRC Health, which provides the technology used to display ratings and comments on our website.

Surveys are sent to patients after an outpatient visit. We invite patients to share feedback about their experience, including how well providers communicated, listened, and explained care. Responses help us recognize our expert care teams and continuously strive to implement our values.

Ratings reflect an average of patient responses to standardized survey questions about their overall experience with a provider.

We want to make sure ratings are meaningful and reliable and therefor require a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys before displaying a provider's star rating. Any provider that has not met this threshold will not have a published rating.

We share all relevant feedback but will  exclude comments that contain profane or libelous language, or that could risk patient privacy are not published. Star ratings are displayed regardless of whether there is an accompanying comment posted.
