Paytan Stubbs, PA C, is a Physician Assistant at United Regional Physician Group’s CarePlus.

Paytan earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, and later completed a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Her academic training has provided a strong foundation in evidence based practice and patient-centered care.

Inspired by a lifelong curiosity about the human body, Paytan was drawn to the PA profession for its blend of science, empathy, and service. Her early experience as a scribe and Emergency Room technician at United Regional gave her valuable insight into caring for patients in fast-paced, diverse clinical settings.

At CarePlus, Paytan appreciates that no two days or patients are the same. The variety keeps her engaged and attentive, and she is known for creating an experience where patients feel comfortable, heard, and never rushed. She strives to deliver the same quality of care she would want for her own family.

Outside the clinic, Paytan enjoys watching movies, spending time with friends and family, exploring new restaurants, and discovering interests that reflect her belief in meaningful connection and shared experiences.
