Dr. Minh Hong received his PharmD from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy (TTUHSC SOP) in 2012. He then completed a two-year ASHP/ACCP-accredited residency in pharmacotherapy practice at TTUHSC SOP in Lubbock, Texas in 2014. Dr. Hong practiced as a clinical pharmacy specialist in internal medicine from 2014 to 2018 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa Texas. During this time, he also served as the PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency Director. He was promoted to Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator in 2018 and then to Director of Pharmacy in 2019. In November 2022, Dr. Hong brought his expertise to United Regional Health Care System, serving as the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program Coordinator. His current career goal is to create a system of pharmacy residency programs in which hospitals can collaborate and share cutting-edge practices. In his spare time, he enjoys playing recreational sports and spending time with family and friends.
