Dr. Latoya Davis is a clinical pharmacist utilizing previous robust leadership experience to support United Regional’s departmental and organizational initiatives within the pharmacy department. Excelling as a pharmacist since 2010, Dr. Davis demonstrates expertise in pharmacy operations, clinical specialty, and talent development. She began her career as a technician before completing pharmacy school at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL. She received a PGY-1 Residency from Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, NY. Dr. Davis spent five years practicing as a critical care and emergency medicine specialist at two different hospitals.  Dr. Davis obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in 2018 from West Texas A&M University with a concentration in Healthcare Management. Adding to her list of accomplishments, Dr. Davis served as the Operations Manager, Pharmacy Preceptor, and Residency Advisor at LBJ Hospital in Houston, TX. Nominated and selected for her work and dedication, Dr. Davis received the Harris Health System Pharmacy Leadership Award, the Harris Health System Innovation Award, and the New York Presbyterian Big Heart Award. Throughout her career, Dr. Davis has been an active member of various professional and community organizations including ASHP, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and serving on the Board of Trustees for DOJM, and Inc. She is committed to making a positive impact in her practice and community, and her approach to success is continually evolving to meet the needs of her patients and colleagues.
